“You have a strut, you know that?”
“I have a - what? A strut? First I have a face and now I have a strut,” Steve shakes his head in disbelief. “You are aware of how ridiculous you sound, right?”
“Ridiculous? You think I’m the ridiculous one when you are the one that is strutting all over the damn place!” Danny throws his hands up in the air. “You are unbelievable, my friend. Simply unbelievable.”
“Yeah, I do think you’re the ridiculous one for watching how I walk.”
Danny’s mouth open and closes silently a few times before he splutters out, “WATCHING YOU? YOU THINK I’M WATCHING YOU?”
Steve winces at the loud tone but nods his head firmly, determined to stick to his guns. “Yeah, watching me. You have a name for every expression on my face and now you’ve progressed to watching how my legs move. Starting to think you have a creepy problem, Danny.”
Danny ignores the snickers from Chin and Kono and glares up at Steve instead. “Did you just call me creepy?”
“You’re the one watching me walk, pal, you tell me if you’re creepy or not.”
“I am not creepy. That is just a matter of fact like the earth is round and the sun is very hot. I am your partner. It is my JOB to watch you and so if that means I notice the stupid way you walk - so be it!”
“Whatever you say, Danno,” Steve says, shaking his head. “I still think you have a problem.”
“Yes, Steven, I do have a problem, okay? You’re my problem! You get me shot on what has now become a weekly basis - ”
“Weekly?! Hardly, try monthly at the most.”
“Do not interrupt me again, Steven!” Danny exclaims, zipping his fingers over Steve’s mouth. “Where was I? Oh, yes, you are my problem. If it wasn’t for you, I would be living a very care free life. I would have no greys, no hospital stays, and I could even drive my own car any time I felt like it!”
“You don’t have grey hair, Danno.”
“Oh, well, I suppose that’s true,” Danny says, slightly mollified. “Either way, my life would be simpler without you in it.”
“Should I go?”
“Of course not, you animal! Why would you even say such a stupid thing? How would I begin to explain to Gracie that her Uncle Steve just up and left? Sometimes I swear you have no sense, Steven, no sense at all,” Danny mutters as he walks away into his office.
“Whatever you say, Danno,” Steve repeats, returning Chin and Kono’s grins. “Whatever you say, babe.”

had me doing an impersonation of a fish. Danny says my life would be simpler without you in it, to which Steve asks a valid question of should I do, then Danny tells him he makes no sense.
sometimes I think Danny rants to hear his own voice because will seriously contradict himself
ps: Steve totally struts! He does it to get Danny's attention
