noot noot. I'm quite dead these days. x_x And if I'm not dead, I'm groggy, and I nap for obscene lengths of time.
I finished reading Pride and Prejudice last Saturday, and it was pretty. I think that's all I can say; it had a happy ending and it was all quite well explained, although the most romantic interaction it had was very witty dialogue. That's expected, of course, but I was still hoping for something. Oh well.
Sometime last week I got the new Wallflower (Perfect Girl Evolution is the download name, I think, but I prefer buying the published manga anyway), which was beautiful as always. I love that thing to bits. I would never have touched it if I friend didn't lend it to me, because the covers of the first four manga are really pretty scary. Not that I have anything against drag (I still intend to read From Eroica, With Love someday), the leopard-print Kyohei just wasn't something I thought I'd buy (since manga here is so expensive). In any case she told me to try it, and I read it and loved it. Sunako is a great protagonist, and she's so cute in her squashed body.
We got all 54 episodes of FMA on DVD yesterday. I have a biting worry that it doesn't work on my computer, which means that we shall always have to watch it on the DVD player, which means that we won't get to watch it often because the parents might pass by and declare anime too violent. Still, FMA, at last! I only ever got up to the sixth episode. ** Unfortunately, while we were testing it we opened to a random episode and I got a major, major spoiler. *spoilerphobic* Ugh. Oh well. Time to catch up on this fandom.
Nothing quite doin in terms of writing, except that I got the notion to finish a short piece of Chris fic [Suikoden III] I started last year. I should hit my quota of 20 writings for this summer, at least. I'll be out of town for the latter part of this week, and the internet has been spasming lately, so it might be a while before I'm back.
The impending schoolyear fills me with gloom. ;__; Ah, well.
