A year in photos - Week 1 (1st -7th March)

I recently came across the Capture Your 365 photography website.

The challenge is to regularly post photos based on daily or weekly themes.

I love the idea of posting a photo a day for a year but I don't think I'm up for that quite yet. Instead I've decided to try posting a photo a week based on the weekly cy365 theme.

The theme for last week (1st - 7th March) was My Heritage and my photo is below.



The photo shows old and new Glasgow - the emblems found on the historic Glasgow city crest immortalised in the rhyme 'Here is the bird that never flew. Here is the tree that never grew. Here is the bell that never rang. Here is the fish that never swam.' with the cranes helping to build the new Glasgow in the background.
