(no subject)
So, at work today, I was packing some parts into a box when I realized I had trapped this lady into a little spot because of where I had placed the thing I was working on. And all of a sudden I started chuckling because I thought, "Man... what if she's super-freaked out by tight spaces and just goes ape-shit." Anyway, this woman is harmless and it was just quite humorous. So, everyone, here's your assignment:
Think of the most harmless, nicest person you know. They musn't have a visible dark quality. Then, imagine them just outright yelling and trying to hit and swing at you. Also, they must be shorter than you.
Isn't that funny? Dammit... it was the funniest thing ever today at work.
Well, last night I went out with Sam, Scott, and Sheena to some various Heritagefest pre-Parties. There were about 6 houses and each at a 1/4 to 1/2 barrel of Schell's or Grain Belt Premium Light. I showed up at the 5th house at around 7:30 and everyone was whacked out of their skull. I guess there was a $15 fee for the party-hop, but once I got there Sam got me beer and then it flowed freely until I left around 10 or so. It was fun, but I never made it to heritagefest. I've never had a really good time around all adults except 4-6 people, but this was good. Emily's birthday is just 5 days away and I go up there in just 4 days. Pretty exciting.
I also saw Sideways the other day. I loved it. People have mixed feelings about it, but I could relate so much to one of the characters (Paul Giamatti), that I think it made the movie so much better. Ok... off to bed at 2:00pm. Gotta work at 11pm-9am. Ugh.
