Camera and The Real World

I just purchased a digital camera online from dell.com. Emily found a super-deal for me and I worked my magic and got one finally. I decided on the Canon A520 (better than the two I had mentioned previously) and picked it up for $227, which is at least $25 less than anywhere else, plus I got a free 256mb secure digital with the purchase. That's like $50 I don't have to spend. So, I was prepared to spend about $215 plus another $50 on a memory card for a lesser camera. And I got a much better one. I'm excited. I hope it comes quickly. And doesn't appear on my debit card for about a year and a half.

I really want to be on the Real World. Really bad. I told Emily and she thinks no, but it supportive either way. I just want the experience. But, I don't want to be "that guy from The Real World." We'll see if I ever make a movie and actually go for it. It would be fun if it was like... Real World: Outdoors. I would dominate with my skills acquired from Boy Scouts.

I watched a movie a few nights ago called "Criminal." It has John C. Reilly in it, who is always a great actor. I forget his name a lot though and think Paul Giamatti (Sideways, Cinderella Man, bit parts in every movie, ever). When I can't think of Paul Giamatti's name... I usually think John C. Reilly or Philip Seymour Hoffman. It's a vicious cycle. Anyway, the movie is ok. A mix between "Oceans Eleven" (I think it was produced by G. Clooney) and the military EPIC "Basic." Of the three, I prefer Basic. Can't go wrong with Samuel L. and Travolta. Also, Maggie Gyllenhaal is in "Criminal" and I like her haircut, but I don't know if anyone I know could pull it off. Maybe Ellen. It was very... I don't know. Neat.

Still listening to Sims' new disc.
