What: Johan and Anderson discuss/argue over the ethics of revenge, Johan is tested in his morality

The lad was quite fixed on getting himself into trouble.
Anderson walked through the shadows of Anatole, ruminating. Johan had sworn revenge on those that hurt his "family", the cards that he carried with him. Now he was giving Anderson care of that deck and Johan was going after the attackers. As much as Anderson had tried to talk him out of it, nothing penetrated the haze of anger that hovered over the boy.
Recently, it seemed the lad was having some doubts. Apparently the cards were worried about him. This was an odd thought to handle, even for Anderson. Spirits and cards...this was just outside his realm of comfort. It was possibly a blessing in disguise though, to keep the lad from lashing out. There was a time and place for killing. Revenge should have nothing to do with it.
He turned down the last alleyway, according to the map Johan had sent him. Up ahead of him was a small, seemingly abandoned building. The new church. His new church. He stood still for a moment, just taking it all in and thanking God for the miracle.
A flicker of light in the window caught his eye. He guessed it was a candle. Johan must already be there, waiting. The pleasant glow that had filled him dimmed a little, knowing what he'd have to discuss up ahead. Still, it'd be good to see and talk to Johan, as opposed to watching from afar.
He opened the door and saw the boy seated on a chair, facing away from him. He appeared to be quite deep in thought. The rest of the church was quite clean and in good order. The lad had been busy. All Anderson would need is a cross or two, maybe some candles and he could have a functional church.
For now, he had Johan to worry about. Each problem in its own time. He stayed just inside the door, giving Johan his space.
