What: Johan brought back some stuff from the ruins. Might want to check it out.
Warnings: Illness and death are mentioned in one of the artifacts.
[There is a Johan sitting in a large room in the library. He's bent over a table, which has a damp box on it, sitting open. There are small blotches of mould on the inside.
On the table in front of him are some strange artifacts, apparently pulled from the box: a small broken statue that might be a toy, or a decoration, or an idol of a god, or any number of a thousand other things; a stack of papers, heavily blotched and sticking to each other; a few other bits and bobs, mostly decayed. One might be a photograph or something like one, but it's so water-damaged it's impossible to make out faces.
There's also a piece of parchment that, while water-stained and heavily degraded, is still readable, with some effort, and it's over this that Johan is currently puzzling. The Codex That Tells All it's not, but it is something of the world this once was, and that's enough to make it of intereest to him.]
