Warnings: Well, Break doesn't like Eugene, so... I dunno. Probably some violence. XD

[And so Break appears. He's here because Eugene asked him to be, and he still hasn't completely recovered from the news that Rapunzel was apparently gone again. He's been wracking up a list of those he's cared about who have come and gone from Anatole... some of them twice now. And now Eugene wants to talk. So. Fine. He'll talk, although he doubts it will bring Rapunzel back.

He arrives with a cautious hand on his cane, in case the young man - for whom Rapunzel'd had mixed reviews - did have a fight in mind.]

Eugene?

[Although he's in plain sight, Break doesn't seem to notice him.]

Break.

[Pushes away from the building he was leaning against to look at the man, blinking in surprise at the cane. He doesn't mention it, however, out of respect for Rapunzel and the fact that he knew that the other man was a friend of her's.]

[There's a pause, because he's not entirely sure how to start this conversation. He sucks at this part.]

How much about Rapunzel do you know?

[Hey now, this cane comes in more handy than you'd think. Particularly since he can pull a sword out of it. But he turns in the direction of Eugene's voice and approaches. Not entirely menacingly, either. Just... wary.]

A good bit, I'd like to think.

[He pauses, and his voice gets more solemn.]

You're sure that she's gone again?

She didn't come home. I looked all over Anatole and even talked to my contacts in Dismas, but no one's seen her. If she was planning on going somewhere, I like to think that she would have told me.

[He sighs, running a hand through his hair.]

She worries me sometimes, because she's not really naive when it comes to the world, you know? She's got a good head on her shoulders though and I know from first hand experience that she's really good at making friends with just about anyone.
