[The hunter looks up, briefly startled out of his prayers, to see Remus' profile by the sunlit entrance. The ways of magic are still something of a mystery to him despite his marriage to a sorceress. But he would trust those with the expertise to help see justice done.]

[Trevor continues his silent vigil. By now, he's far past asking the Lord how he could've let this happen. Now he's just asking Him for the strength and insight to find and corner the knave.]

[A moment, perhaps two, really is all he needs. It's nearly instant, his appearance, almost a flash into existence in that spot. Those flashing steps are ceased by the calm, precise walk that Byakuya is known for, proud and regal, as always, even when it comes to investigating a scene. Begin your investigation. [An order is all that is needed in the exchange of words.]

External elements manipulated to allow for teleportation, rather than a change to the teleporter himself. With the ability to manipulate not external, as through machinery, but a connective resonance between those elements and Byakuya's internal power ( ... )

[A curt nod that says "You're welcome." to Remus, and one of greeting to the stoic Police Commander following close behind.]

Do as you will.

[With that, Trevor steps away to let them work undisturbed. Technically he's through here, but he decides to stay in case any further assistance can be lent. For the next several minutes, he will gravitate between observing them and watching for newcomers.]

((OOC: o/ You two can one-on-one; Trev's role here will be passive from here on out unless he's asked questions and stuff like that.))
