[Dick Grayson, former world famous member of the Flying Graysons, sits on a bench outside Joker's carnival, staring despondently at the Big Top where, just a week ago, he'd been practicing an act he knows his parents would have been proud of. Not anymore, though. At least not for a while until his arm heals. It won't be forever, but it's not just the time on the ground, it's also those bonus feelings of being a failure. He should have been able to stop the wolf, but underestimation and stupid mistakes had gotten him almost eaten and, in the end, all it meant was that he hadn't been good enough.
So much for being able to handle himself on his own. If only Batman could see him now.]
