Okay--reports for the high temp today are ranging from 91 to 101. *sobs*

Clearly, there will be no use of the stove in the scathachdhu household today. This will be a George Foreman grill/rice cooker/microwave kinda day.

So all the smoke that drove me to close every window in the house, yet is still making my eyes sting and irritating my throat? Landfill fire the next town over. Lovely.

I do not envy the firefighters trying to contain this monster.

It's 90 degrees today. It's supposed to be 99 degrees tomorrow. Monday, it was 68. 68.

I have no a/c. I can't even drink, because that'll make me even hotter. *sobs*

...and 61 degrees tomorrow. Seriously, weather, what the hell?

Damn, it's been busy at work. And I'm glad it's the weekend, but it's now randomly 80 degrees, and is supposed to stay this hot till Monday, when it will go back down to 65. Yeah, I don't know either.

Rain let up for a little bit this evening, so I ducked out to the store for flashlights, batteries and a few other things. Nothing like hearty beef stew on an unseasonably warm late October evening.

I was gonna call Gramma, but whenever the weather gets crazy like this, she starts quoting Revelations at me and I'm not sure I can handle that today.
