Football, the best medicine..
Last night was the first football game for my town's High School.
For those of you that may not know it, I'm an avid football fan. I love to go to the high school games even. Back to the hospital...
So, I went back today.. had blood work done, another EKG and a cat scan. I have to rest, till I see my doctor on Monday or Tues. When he gets the results. I had high blood pressure so that concerns me, I've never had high blood pressure other than when I'm in pain. And I'm not in pain ( Read more... ) -

Ok.. depression hits already..
I went to the doctors office to weigh myself this morning thinking I knew I had gained, but wow.. I had gained more than I thought. I'm so sad. But I am not going to let it sideline me.

I know, it's a corny saying, but it really is true. I'm nearing 50, good grief.. 50!! That number scares the hell out of me. So, I really need to do something.. NOW.. like yesterday. But i will settle for now. I know i'll have setbacks, but I can't let them totally derail me.

But I have decided to get my fat ass in gear and lose the weight I need to. At least 100 lbs of it. I have set a target date of Nov 18, 2009 Why that date. Hiding out
I've been hiding out lately. Things at home are not all they are cracked up to be right now and I'm really feeling the stress of it. You know, so often I think of all the bad things that can happen, forsaking those wonderful things in life. Yesterday I was all concerned about my son and the dentist. I forgot to have faith.
