Great Valentine's
I had a great Valentine's Day yesterday. Colin showed up and gave me a rose with other flowers, and a HUGE box of Godiva chocolate! He was so cute when he gave it to me! Then he told me that we had reservations at 8:15, so I put on a dress, and he put on his suit, and we took off. I had no idea where we were going. Anyway......We end up at Applewood (highly recommended!) and it is really nice! Our friend James plays guitar there, so we got to eat and listen to him at the same time. I've never had gourmet food before...... And this was definitely gourmet. Everything tasted wonderful, and looked so pretty when they brought it out that I didn't want to eat it! It was SOOOOOO good though. I ended up getting some sort of seafood pasta, and Colin got steak with bleu cheese topping and garlic mashed potatoes. I was so stuffed when we left, and I still had a huge box of leftovers! We were planning on going to dessert with James and Isis after that, but James called and said he was tired and had class really early in the morning, so he couldn't go. It was a bummer, but I was pretty tired myself. Being sick really takes it out of you.
