College: Week Seven

Feb 26, 2017 20:47

Week Six: This is the only college group this week, just Winslow Lynch-Davis and Danny Pleasant. They're both kind of forgotten-type sims, so we'll see if they start to interest me once they're having their uni adventures. They also look slightly alike, which makes them even more forgettable, so let's get memorable, boys!

small event: Too Much Food Channel - cook a different meal every night
big event: nothing - the week goes on like normal

Here's Winslow, all grown up. He's a History major - perhaps trying to learn about the past of Sunset Bay before it was founded by people like his mothers?

And here is the similar but different-hued Danny Pleasant, who is a Literature major. I guess he was inspired by watching his uncle write a very odd novel.
They're the only two in college this round, so they got stuck in this extremely tiny dorm - I don't remember if I was copying one of the amazing dorms I've seen on Tumblr or not, but the rooms are literally the smallest you can get and still put a twin bed in them that the sims can actually get in. I don't know what I was thinking, although it really is cute.

Winslow has been in relationships with Lucas Young and Isla Fey (who actually liked him, and she barely likes anyone, so obviously he's a sweetie), but now he's ready for college girls!
I forgot to make sure that it was just adults and young adults available, so a certain elder showed up - um, Lilith, you already have a girlfriend. And your youngest child is roommates with this boy. So, moving on, you creepy old lady...

This girl showed up the second time around: Deena Day (zeusar - I can't find it on his Tumblr, though - she came with antlers, if you know where the specific link is...)

This flower child and Winslow quickly started bonding - I think he's forgotten all about his high school flings at this point.

Danny was also in a relationship back in high school, with Maxis Sim Ivy Copur, but apparently he's switched her out for another Maxis staple: Marylena Hamilton.

Here she is post-makeover and with a hair that doesn't look slightly glitchy - I approve.

Both boys tried to fulfill the ROS event by cooking, but they never really helped out in the kitchen back at home, so it didn't go well. They tried it a few more times, but these boys survived on to-go meals and such in between class for their time here.

And then Cow Mascot shows up.
Oh look, a mascot being mean - how original. One of these times I'm going to find a way to play these guys and get them out of here.

Danny approves of this plan.

And now we have the Llama Mascot - because things can't get worse for Danny.
Danny: Oh, come on, I'm just trying to get this girl to fall in love with me - leave me alone already!

Well, apparently Llama left.

And Danny achieved his goal - Ivy who?

Winslow would rather relax in between classes.

But he hasn't forgotten about Deena completely, so of course he had to call her back over eventually.

Things are moving quicker for Danny, though, so back to him. He's popping the question - she said yes, of course!

Um, WHAT?
I swear, I turned my attention away for like a minute and then see THIS. What happened - and why are you still here, Cow?

I checked his memories and saw THIS - um, what? How did you even have time to do that? And I never even saw either of you swooning over each other - why would you do this in the first place, let alone in front of the girl you just PROPOSED TO?

He tries to smooth things over with Marylena, and Cow/Ethan has the gall to get pissed off at him.
Well, no one will say that Danny's college experience was boring.

It took a lot of groveling to get back into Marylena's good graces, but he's working on it.

This interesting girl, Renee Johnson, walked by. She's having fun experimenting with her look during uni, obviously.

So many things happening in this picture. We have Danny trying to work things out with Marylena again and her totally shutting things down, and then we have Winslow suddenly realizing that Danny is apparently cute - all while his eyes are having trouble remembering how they're supposed to look.
Um, let's move on, shall we?

At least things are still going well between Deena and Winslow - he's apparently not that hung up on Danny.

But you can't spend all your time dancing with your girl, and he eventually ran out of steam.

Marylena is still not happy with her fiance (yep, still engaged) - I don't really blame her.

He finally got their relationship up enough over phone conversations for her to come over, and he immediately said hello with his lips.

Yep, I think she might have forgiven him now.

Um, who is this? Is this Renee Johnson? I'm apparently missing one of them from my notes and I'm not sure which is which, but the important thing is that YOU STILL HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP! Don't screw it up!

*sigh*

And with all that romantic drama, the boys graduated. I swear, they did study and such in between all that!
At first, Winslow headed off to his own place, but he quickly decided that he wanted to spend some time with his family (and I didn't want too many new households again) and will be moving in with his mothers and brother after their week.

Danny does get his own house, though, and Marylena is even along for the ride! Don't screw it up this time, dude.

Notes:
- Yeah, ACR really took over this time. Don't know what happened - it was amusing, except it also wasn't because these dudes were in relationships!
- I remembered that I want to give all these hyphenated sims just one name. Since Winslow is closer to Lena, he's now simply Winslow Lynch. Danny was just Pleasant already, so no changes for him.
- I actually remembered that Daniel goes by Danny so that we don't have two Daniels - I didn't do that last week or the week before, if I remember correctly.

week seven, sunset bay: davis family, sunset bay: college, !sunset bay, sunset bay: pleasant family, sunset bay: lynch family
