The Perry Family I: Week Five

May 01, 2016 16:52

From the round-up of Week Four, this is what happened in the Perry household last time: The lonely Britta quickly fell for Skylar, who soon moved in after Britta asked him to marry her, and often awkwardly tried to bond with his future stepchildren and their friends. Twins Edison and Angie grew up and entered the world of romance, Edison with the brightly colored Oudi and Angie with the adorable Haven Lynch-Davis. Remy and Giselle both headed to their father's place for the weekend before growing up.

Of course, I forgot to do the minor ROS event and they didn't have a major one, so I'm too lazy to write it down when it didn't even happen. Whoops?

Britta may be very close to her elder birthday, but she can still be a child at heart.

Meanwhile, her son is a little more interested in more "adult" activities...

Angie is a bit puzzled - the last time she saw her little sister, Giselle was an adorable little child, and now she's suddenly joined the ranks of hormonal teenagers.
Oh, the joy of split custody.

She got over her confusion quickly by calling over her girlfriend, Haven Lynch.

Her date was interrupted by her mother joining the ranks of elders.
Apparently Britta is in need of a makeover as well as a new marriage, at least according to her wants.

Angie wasn't interested in her mother's impending marriage, though - her bed, however...

Elder! Britta, who looks just as beautiful as ever.

Skylar was much more interested in the wedding, though (luckily).

It's like Joel Perry sensed that something was afoot with his ex-wife.

Joel: This is my so-called competition? She sure has a type...
Says the man who married two blonde women...

Giselle was quite happy to welcome Skylar to the family, but Oudi Fey was less sure about his possible father-in-law (you know, if things work out with Edison).

Joel got over his dislike of Skylar quickly - either that or he's plotting his demise behind nice little smiles.

Or he's just given up? In a very sad way?
Haven: Why is he crying again?
I really have no idea.

Britta headed to her shop, Blooming Petals, because it's been too long since I checked on this cute flower shop.

One of her customers was the adorable Pocahontas by lesyasun - she definitely needs to become an official Sunset Bay citizen.

I don't think Britta will make it to Rank 10 *sob* Hopefully one of her children continues the business for her.

Giselle! Don't antagonize Isla Fey - she's scary.

Britta: You know, we should have had a real, fancy wedding. I could have worn a pretty, pink dress and you could have had a matching tux...
Well, it's a good thing you didn't do that, because I don't know if I have any nice pink tuxes for him to wear.

Ashta Fey seems a lot happier to come home with Giselle instead of the Royal-Thatcher children...

Much, much happier.

Aw, Angie is talking to her older sis, Remy Perry! Um, excuse me, why don't you look more excited?

Skylar: *is creepily staring at his teenage stepdaughter and her girlfriend heading into the house*
You worry me sometimes, Skylar.

Aw, more young love! These teenagers are all quite busy.

I played some of these families all around the same time, so Haven has since headed off to college. Remy obviously misses her - and she apparently wants to have some more heart-to-hearts with her sister. I don't think she talked to Remy this much when they actually lived together.

She won't have to call her girlfriend, though, because...

...she's headed off to college! Edison isn't joining her because the house would be kind of empty and boring without any kids, plus he's a Pleasure Sim and not as interested in college as Family Sim Angie.

Britta: I'm trying to say goodbye to my daughter, you idiot!
Yeah, because I'm sure he's blocking your entire view.

Edison isn't too broken up about his twin leaving, apparently - he has other things on his mind.
Edison: Do you think we'll still be together in the future?
Oudi: Are you kidding? Ours is a love for the ages!
Aw, teenage dramatics.

Oudi has settled into this house quite nicely.

Edison has gone from a house of four children to being the only one left since Giselle is at her dad's before heading off to college herself. Get ready for being stuck with lots of newlywed antics.

Notes:
- I'm not sure who will inherit the shop yet - Edison will be the last one left in the house, but Angie has a green thumb, so I'll wait and see. Maybe it'll go to whichever has a higher relationship with Britta right before she dies.
- Edison should grow up halfway through the next week, I think, so his age won't match up with his twin anymore, but he's not the only one after the next round, so I don't really care.
