Welcome everyone to our "Save Greendal Committee" community! We are incredibly happy to have you all here. Why are we here? We all share this wonderful common interest, and that's the love for our dear show Community. We love it to the point where saving it has become a goal that we will work hard for. And I know we can do it. Fans have such power, tenacity, and passion that has given Community the run it's had. Just look at how close the show has come to an end in the previous years. Fans did that, and fans will do it again. The writers and actors have given us something great, and we are not going to let such a quality show be taken from our TV's. Whatever you have to contribute, whether it's ideas, taking on assignments, or just to show your support, it is greatly appreciated.
Read the info under the cut so you can get a basic idea of how this comm is going to work, and some rules we would like you to follow.
Here's what's in this Comm:
Supporters- A list of urls/journals of people who support Community being renewed. You can add your name in the comments.
Task Wall- Lists of the things we have accomplished and the projects that we still need to get done.
Committee Meeting- Where we discuss projects and ideas and hand out assignments.
Annie's Notes- Notes taken from Committee Meeting discussions so you can easily read up on what you've missed.
The Dean's Announcements- Listing any new developments, sucesses, or announcements.
Abed's Meta- A place for you to talk about the show with your fellow fans.
Rules and Guidlines:
-Try to keep your comments to their designated threads. Especially if you are discussing project ideas and announcements. It keeps the community organized and it will be so much easier for us to take notes and keep track of what we're doing.
-Most entries allow comments, but one (Annie's Notes) does. That entry is just there to use as a reference.
- Respect all actors, characters, and ships. We all have our own likes and opinions, and you can express that. This is not the place for bashing or shipper wars, however. If you feel the need to do that, keep it in your own journal/blog.
-Respect each other. Pretty much all for the reasons above. We are all here for the same reason, so remember that.
- Try and stay positive. I know that there are things that might make "Six seasons and a movie" unlikely. But we need to know that we have a chance to keep us motivated. No idea is a bad idea. Some may be out of our abilities to accomplish. Some will take priority over others, but we try to consider everything.
Also, this comm is currently set to not allow entries from non-member mods. Once again, it's to keep things organized and easy to find. We'll probably switch it when an official announcement has been made about Season 6.
