I took a ride today that reminded me of every reason I loved being on bikes.
The weather couldn't be beat, blue skies as far as you could see, no wind, 78 degrees out and sunny.
I took about a 10 mile drive through farmland and through a nature park where the road got really windy and twisty. Every payment I'll ever make on this bike, any day I have to drive it in the rain, I'll remember this ride today. Life doesn't get any better than going through the farms and forest on a beautiful day like today on a good bike.
There's just something about it. Men and women with far greater ability to weave a tapestry with words have spoken on the subject before me... the freedom and connection you get with the road and places you're riding through.
