One Step Closer...well...couple steps closer....
This past weekend Mike had his audition at USF for the School of Music. Good news! He got in!! So, that made it official that we would be moving to Tampa. Then yesterday I began the task of passing the FTCE. There are 2 parts that are the same that everyone takes, the General Knowledge and the Professional Education part, then you take a subject area exam in what you want to teach. The General Knowledge is just very basic knowledge in reading, English language, and math. I passed the General Knowledge! So now I am onto taking the Professional Ed part, which is the hardest. I have a study book I have been working out of and will be taking the exam in the next 10 days or so. Then all I have to take is the Social Sciences 6-12 to teach Middle or High school.
We've been apartment hunting a little, haven't really found anything that we just love yet. Hopefully we will soon though. I'm excited to have a new start. We'll be living in our own place, just the two of us, without my brother. I will have a real job, with a salary, and not just hourly. It's going to be nice. We can live comfortably, and live somewhere nicer and not so College like. We also will be close to the beach, which makes me happy! I will also only be an hour and a half away from my family, which also makes me happy. I will be able to just go home on the weekend and visit or do things with them when I feel like it.
Now, to just get through this semester and my BS summer classes. I will graduate on August 9 and then we will be moving that weekend or early the following week. I'm excited.

Oh, PS. I got a promotion at work. I am now Production Assistant. So, it's kind of like Erin is the Production Manager and I am the supervisor, make sense?! It's also a nice raise, $3 an hour more! Woot!
