So I've been drawing and painting, but it's all coming to nothing. Proportions, scaling, details. I'll be happy with something, and then hate it completely in the next minute. Hours of meticulous painting will then be wiped away in an instant, and I'm forced to start again ( Read more... )

So I plan on making this my new digital project, but it will probably take some time. Being the super achiever that I am, I scanned the image (drawn originally on roughly 14"x10" paper) at 600dpi. Smart, huh? So the orignal file is 7.7Mb large, and the resolution? 4294x6904 pixels.... So it will take a lot of time for me to clean up and paint ( Read more... )

So I retook pictures of the oil paintings, with higher resolution and overall better quality, and Photoshopped them to bring out the colors. I personally think these look much better than the previous uploaded versions.
