Summary: Changmin isn't pleased of Jaejoong writing cheesy poems on the wall of their university's old building. So when he befriended the Yunho, he was certain that the new transfer student and Jaejoong will get along very well.

"What was that?" A young man nudged his classmate next to him. "They said we should turn off our phones,"

"It's not like they'll see us use our phone when they were busy on the stage," the student answered ignoring his classmate.

"Hand me your phone, man,"

"What?" The young man hissed. But his classmate quickly shut him off, telling that the man in front of him is a member of the student council.

"I see you are busy with your phone rather than the topics being discussed," Yoochun held out his hand but the student refused to follow. He was starting to get on his nerves but he remained calm. A council officer should have a lot of patience in his system.

"I promise I-I won't do it again, Yoochun-nim,"

"Did you just called me '-nim'? Sweet talking won't make me ignore you doings young man, come on give me that or --"

He stopped the moment the student put his phone atop his hands probably well aware of the consequences that will be given to him. They were currently in the university's auditorium where freshmen were having an orientation. The advisers told them to temporarily stop using their phones as it was very distracting especially when all the lights were off. Some students didn't take it seriously so five minutes after it had started, lights from phones were glowing in the darker part of the place. Little did they know that council officers were lurking inside, ready to confiscate the devices. Yoochun being one of them, already had five phones in his hand.

"Woah, that's a lot Chunnie," Junsu exclaimed after meeting Yoochun outside the auditorium. They were heading back to the office to report the incidents in the auditorium.

"There'll be a flock of students in the office later."

"Hyunjoong will be very pleased," Junsu replied knowing that the governor will be very glad for the job Yoochun did.

"Hyunjoong will be very pissed," he countered. "Hyunjoong will be very pissed, that just means he has a lot of papers to sign and students to scold."

"He'll gain additional haters,"

"That, he will," Yoochun agreed as they opened the door to the council office.

Jaejoong has a pen, but he doesn't use it to write down notes from his lecture for the day. He uses it for somewhere else.

'We keep walking and get lost in time, we pass each other.
So I'll give you a song now, like spinning the thread that had come untied,'
"Hyung, seriously?" Changmin said while leaning on the wall where Jaejoong had scribbled the short phrase. Jaejoong dragged Changmin out of his classroom after his last class just to write on his self-claimed freedom wall. It was located at the further back of the old art building in their university. And because people rarely go there, Jaejoong decided to claim this place. He said that this was the perfect place whenever he needed to clear his mind or just wanted to kill his time waiting for his next class.

"What? This is my wall Min,"

"Apparently hyung, that isn't..and what was that supposed to mean?" Changmin pointed at the said phrase.

"It's a poem!" Jaejoong flailed. Changmin snorted in return.

"Yeah sure poem, and whoa, you got a huge paper for your poem, hyung you should be writing that in your note--"

"--book or wherever else. What if the council saw you blablablabla, Min. Just let me do this, okay? No one will know that it was me,"

"Unless I tell them."

Jaejoong stopped and looked at Min, "No, you will never do that.."

"You're right." Changmin resigned. No one will ever make Jaejoong stop whatever he wants to do so he sighed in defeat and got his History book.

The said wall has an almost fading white paint, perfect place for Jaejoong's vandalisms. Not only the wall was the reason why Jaejoong got attracted to this place, but also the huge tree and the old bench sitting across it. Changmin really doesn't know why Jaejoong prefer vandalizing on this wall instead of writing in his notes for his deadlines, but he can feel that the other was enjoying what he was doing so he let his hyung do it.

Then Jaejoong's phone rang, his bag was on the bench so he volunteered to get the phone and handed it to Jaejoong. "Hyung, your phone~"

"Thanks, hello?"

[Jae, where are you? I'll send you on your apartment]

"Uh, thanks but I'm on my way home now,"

[Oh, I see.. Got something to do later?]

"I've got a lot to finish tonight, sorry,"

[…I understand, it's okay, tomorrow then?]

"bye,"

"Hyunjoong?" Changmin asked after Jaejoong ended the call.

"Who else?"

"You keep on giving him the cold treatment, come on hyung just tell him you don’t like him,"

Jaejoong sighed, his wall completely forgotten. "Min, I already told him that…countless times.."

"Oh," Changmin gave Jaejoong a glance, and gave a sigh too. "Let's go home?"

"Yunho..D-do you have an extra mechpen?" Yunho casted a surprised glance at Changmin who was busy analyzing the seatwork they were currently having.

"Here, use mine."

"But your seatwork?"

"Finished already, here," Yunho said while placing his pen on Changmin's desk.

Due to his excitement, Changmin forgot that he was inside the classroom and exclaimed, "Woah! You're fast!"

Curious eyes flew onto them and Changmin quickly muttered a quick apology to his professor. The reaction can't be helped though, Changmin was surprised that someone beat him into solving complicated logics. Plus the fact that he was a new student from other university. Jung Yunho, who had just completed his enrollment yesterday, had officially started his class today. His first class was Logics which was a course for freshmen thus finding himself sitting beside Changmin. Luckily, the man wasn't a snob and was actually very friendly.

"We'll be having your groupings for the whole semester, we'll do it in pairs, after you're sure with your partner, pass a quarter piece of yellow paper with both of your names written on it before our class ends," and the moment their professor ended his instructions, Changmin already knew who to pair up with.

"When are you planning to stop doing that, hyung?" Changmin asked. They were currently having their lunch on the said place when Jaejoong suddenly got up and wrote a cheesy line on the wall.

"I don't know," Jaejoong answered while adding strokes of paintbrush. He had progressed from just scribbling cheesy poems to adding paints. Jaejoong probably wanted to make the wall a huge canvass of his thoughts. He will never understand why Jaejoong chose to follow what his parents wanted for his college degree. The man is a walking arts and poetry; it is his life. One will never see any Communication Arts book scattered in his room, instead were tons of literature books and art mediums.

On the other hand, Changmin is taking up Engineering. Both of them were from the same high school and accidentally went to the same university. He appreciates the beauty of arts but has no idea on what those strokes mean. To him, they are just layers of weirdly placed lines and colors with the emphasis of Jaejoong's poems. Things only his hyung understands.

Vandalizing of university's property is obviously not allowed, but what can he do? Jaejoong is enjoying it everytime he goes here plus he doesn't have anyone to hang out with every lunch time aside from him so he let him do whatever he wants. Sometimes, it just becomes unbearable.

"Hyung! We have a new blockmate, he's a transfer student, he's soooooooo smart but hyung I'm smarter, don't argue with me huh?" Changmin laughed, "Others think he's just showing off, but I think he's so cool! I want to befriend him,"

"Then do it Min, it's not like anybody's stopping you?" Jaejoong dipped the brush on the palette.

"He's an irregular student so our scheds don’t match up, but we have the same lunch time every Tuesday and Wednesday! Let's go all eat together so you won’t se"

"Uhm our lunch time don’t match Min, so yeah thanks.." another stroke and he changed his brush into a finer one.

"Oh.. I forgot about that. But I'll find some time alright?"

"Whatever," Jaejoong said while standing up. Another poem was made. Changmin knew it was time to go so he got up too.

"Let's go back, Min." Jaejoong smiled and put all of his things in his shoulder bag. He was certain that the new transfer student and Jaejoong will get along very well.
