C just told me that the temperature was 52 and was expected to reach a daily high of 71. That seems amazingly cool and pleasant after the hot summer we just had!
If you want to send me an e-copy, I'll try to fit in reading and reviewing it. I'm hoping to get caught up on all the reviews I've promised people during December, which is going to be a dead month for us in terms of conventions.
Right now we're having record highs in the 90's, but according to the forecast, the heat is supposed to break on Thursday and drop down to the 60's, with overnight lows in the 40's. We'll probably go straight from running the a/c to the furnace, with no moderate temperatures in between. I'm just hoping this winter won't be too brutal, especially if we're able to get the January and February conventions (although they're both juried and highly competitive, so we may be looking at a long lean period).
I hope you get a break weather wise! We should have a few more heat waves and fire season. Hard to know if we'll get any rain before summer starts up again in March or April.
