Driving from SoCal to Mammoth for 4th of July on Friday when I spotted a totally neglected Impala for sale in Independence, CA (don't you love the name?). I caught that it was 60-something, but I'm not sure if it was a '67 (going a bit too fast to read the complete "for sale" sign on the windshield). So The Cousin, who does occasional modeling gigs, got a ticket to the Surfrider Foundation event at the Playboy Mansion last night. She said it was fun, but involved walking around in a bikini and hooker heels all night. This weekend the BF was in town for a visit, so I entertained him with a trip to the Petersen Automotive Museum in downton Los Angeles. One of their big exhibits this time was "La Vida Lowriders."
