Okay, so I'm weak

I did it. I caved. I read the spoilers. I now have knowledge of the season finale of Gilmore Girls. I have a few comments to make, but I shall keep them under tags, for all of my non-spoiled friends out there.

So, first of all, I have some questions:
1.) Do Luke and Lorelai actually break up, or does she ask to take a break? This doesn't matter in ( Read more... )

1. Luke and Lorelai are broken up.

2. There's some Lorelai crying in episode 21.

3. Don't know if she gets drunk, but they're at some kind of party in the sides and I'm sure there's alcohol available.

4. It would be awfully weird for Chris to take off his robe, climb into bed and put his arm around Lorelai if they hadn't slept together. And there's G.G.'s comment that Lorelai isn't wearing a nightgown or anything. So in my opinion from reading the sides, they do sleep together.

I'm still confused and in shock, I think.

1.)Well, I figured they were broken up. Does it happen in episode 21 or 22? And do you know if they are just airing those two episodes together? Because the Promo guy said only 4 more episodes, and that doesn't add up ( ... )

We're not sure when they actually break up. But it almost seems like they're still together in the sides we have for the finale. So I think it might happen sometime in that ep.

The party isn't Lane's wedding (that's ep 19). Not sure what it's about, but it's at the elder Gilmores'.

Let me know how the enjoying goes. I quit watching when I read this particular little gem. I have said for years that I would not watch if Lorelai maide that mistake again. If it was some guy in a bar or Max or Alex or Jason... but it is Christopher. Its like my mom sleeping with ex. Its just... I can't think of any redemption for Lorelai or any solution to the Luke and Lorelai relationship after that. I'm really impressed with the people who can. But I can't.

Heh, I will let you know. I understand people's frustrations, and I am disappointed in Amy as well. She has proved before that she can do better than this. But...it is my show, I love it, and ultimately, I want to see how everything turns out. And ultimately, I think we will see Luke and Lorelai together. Because they are MEANT to BE together, dammit! I know this, you know this, and Amy herself knows this. So...yeah. I am trying not to let it get to me too much, because, as I said above, it IS just a television show. Not real life. Just keep repeating that to yourself; it helps.

Well I'm only a week late, but I've totally caved. I couldn't do it. I couldn't understand why people were so unhappy and not know. And I'm kind of glad I read them. I mean, I have this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach now (that I'm not sure I've ever had except for maybe at the end of Alias season 2) but I think I would rather know NOW than be socked in the gut in three weeks.

I'm still a little bit confused about how this works out. I thought the Christopher stuff we were getting happened next week...because next week apparently Lorelai gets drunk at Lane's wedding and then passes out on the couch with Chris there. So reading this came as a total surprise to me.

And damn it, I knew I've always had a reason for hating Chris.

I don't think this will sink in for a few days. I had something else to add, but now it's flown out of my head.
