Finished a drawing tonight. This is the first piece of work in my new sketch book. Better paper quality makes such a huge difference.

Final pic I'm going to do in my poor sketch book. The paper quality is getting to me as it's causing my work to be buggered up when I do shading. Erase something once or twice, fine. But erase something a few times, and next thing you know you're wearing out the paper. Not noticable unless you try to shade something, in which case it makes things ( Read more... )

Well, I did it, I bought a scanner today. $70, which was about what I was expecting. Was close to spending $100 for something with better resolution, but... starving student. Besides, this one was black, so it matches my PC.

Finished another drawing this evening. Damn work for taking up so much time.

Either way, it's a concept drawing of Wednesday. For the most part I'm pleased with how it turned out. Though the lower half of the body is proportioned wrong (HUGE ass) and I suck at hands. The shading is... meh (not that it's all that noticable with the crappy lighting).

Did a sketch earlier today. took about 2 hours. It made me realize that I'm definatly not ready to attempt things at odd angles yet and need to stick with people standing or laying down. Chaotic mood swings today. No idea why. Good mood one moment, down the next, up, then down then frustrated an hour later (mostly due to the swings). Ugh. Day 3 of being moody, though this has been the worst in a long time. However, I finished a drawing I've been working on which I started the other day (or was it two days ago?).
