Bloody Noses finally coming to an end (I hope!)

I can't believe I haven't updated since Day 7 of the bloody nose dilemma!

We had a follow up vet appointment on Tuesday, which was Day 8 since we first noticed Sid's bloody nose. They made sure we were the last appointment of the day so we wouldn't be infecting any other client, and they had plastic covering everything in the room we were in. The ( Read more... )

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the A&H washing soda now... I'm pretty sure it's viral. Vet suggested it may be, and as soon as I got home I looked closely at the other cats noses and I see it starting on both Maddie and Bunny.

I made this 8.5x11 printout for our pet sitter so she'll easily be able to tell which cat is which.
I tried to pick pictures most representative of each cat - for example, Dutchie in his favourite spot showing that he's all brown tabby, penny in her favourite spot, showing all her glorious orangeness, Sid in his favourite spot showing all his white ( Read more... )

Harris is an adopted cat!

He just left for his forever home, and his new parents are so inlove and think he's the most gorgeous thing on the planet.

Here is a picture of Harris last night with Sid. He got right on top of him when wrestling and then they just started taking turns licking each others heads. It was almost obscene!

On this day last year, "Sid Vicious" came into our lives for what was supposed to be a couple weeks for socialization. Then we took him to the cottage to continue with socialization on our holidays. Then we all came back and he never left :)
