I just haven't had anything to say lately. Or used my computer as much, I guess. I've been trying to work on con projects for a couple of hours a night (mostly), since the con is about six weeks away at this point. I'm not panicking. Really. Yet.
I'm somewhat between projects at the moment, procrastinating (like so!) from starting something else after very nearly finishing a set of
Kenpachi and
Yachiru bears that is bad ass. Kenpachi still needs his scar, which will need a borrowed Clover iron and some luck.
As for video projects, my software setup is allllllmost working - the Fruits Basket project loads, but the multi-source one doesn't. It's probably that SetMemoryMax business. I'll fiddle some more.

Even my mom is convinced that the wedding planning, um, exists, though I need to visit at least one other hall on the "likely" list and get some more answers about details. Hell if I know about most of the other things people care about (don't even ask about dresses, for instance), but I think we have a handle on things that we do and don't want.
Actually, today at work the background music was one co-worker's mix of '90s music ("This music was soooo sixth grade!" *headdesk*), so I took down some notes on songs I generally try to forget that need to have their asses banned from the reception. Such as "I'll Be." Any version. Guhrrrghhh. No offense if you do like it. Cough. Sorry. Anyway, the point is that Everyone is Different, So Let's Try and Work With That, Please.

Some things that I've been coming back to lately:
Cake Wrecks - I admit, when I first saw this link I was terrified that my Katamari monstrosity would show up, but no, this is solely awful cakes that people got paid to make. I think
this trio is my favorite.
Craft: Blog - I got a subscription to Craft: last Christmas from my dad, and I have to say I love it to death despite the pervasive stink of hipster. It's a quarterly, however, so getting a fix in the meantime is nice. I am always a sucker for recycled crafts. Sigh.
I do have the same problem with this site that I had with Cosplaylab (before I stopped checking every week and started going just to upload my own stuff, not to torture myself) - it's both demotivating and motivating, depending on the prevailing winds in my brain. So timing is important.
Right now, however, I've got some drum covers to make, so I don't have time to beat myself over the head with everyone else's CONSTANT AWESOMENESS ARGH. ;P
