Yesterday I stopped in to see Mark at work and stayed for the Oscar-Nominated ANIMATED Shorts.
They were all really wonderful but the longest, Varmints by Marc Craste,  was by far my favorite. It was 24 minutes long and although "highly commended," is NOT in the running for an Academy Award. It's a real shame.

I love Leonard Cohen.
I honestly dont know how I lived 20+ years without him. (I was introduced while working at the music store I used to work at starting my sophomore year of college.)
I can't even begin to describe his music, his voice, his lyrics. It's all so perfect and so amazing.
