Monday night...
Went ahead and took a shower; did all the female stuff one needs to do with it...Got out in time to meet and spend time with Mac for a bit. From what he said, the fur is getting ready to fly come Thursday out at the prison....there is a meeting at 10:00a.m. for those interested in making changes at the prison. The Warden has therefore ORDERED a MANDATORY MEETING at 10:00p.m. for Second and Third Shifts. The Warden suspects some people have orchestrated these incoming changes and is looking to either information hunt or head-hunt, using loss of one's job as leverage if people continue to support these changes coming in. Also the Warden will use the upcoming contract renewl with MTC (the parent company of LaECI prison) as leverage also. But like Mac said, even if the contract with MTC is not renewed, the new owners coming in will have to hire the experienced C.O.'s as opposed to newbies fresh out of the Academy. So, there is a good chance he would keep his job no matter what.
Also, Mac and Mr. Johnson are still planning on going down to Mountaineer Casino to speak with the owner who is building the new one in Presque Isle, Pa. Mr. Johnson has yet to set up the appointment, and Mac says Mr. J. is verbally expressing dissatisfaction with MTC and LaECI, but his body language is saying the opposite. This leaves me to wonder if Mr. J. is just going 'through the motions' to get Mac and other guys interested in the Security jobs at the new casino off his back ?
Anyway...explained and updated Mac about what the heck went on today as far as the bank and court. I told him about the upcoming meeting concerning 'Level 1' and what I planned to do if my voice doesn't get heard. He's planning on raising the roof at the morning meeting; like he said...'They'll have to put a muzzle on me before I shut up'.... Personally, I support the changes that are trying to be made at the prison...then maybe some of the underhanded bullshit will stop.
Anyway, I am online again... (Yes! Yes! I am addicted!), with Canis, Braum and spoke briefly to Xanateria...but she had to bail due to bad storms...dang it!
Oh..and Mac's plates have jumped from $35.00 last year to $75.00...so, he's not sure about the cabin for his vacation now...he'll be $75.00 short. Eeeesh!
Anyway...I am very mellow at the moment; though I wish Mac could have stayed tonight.... This damn shit of not being able to be together due to finances, and Ohio Village 'rules' absolutely sucks lemons. Everyone else seems to be able to be with who they want--married or not--but we can't ? Not fair. Yeah...yeah...don't tell me...
Some times, I wish I had the script I'm supposed to be following in this life-time, so I knew where the heck things were gonna lead to or not...but the only ones who really know the script, are The Powers That Be... Hey...how about sharing? *looks up*.
