Is the Old DVD Player destined for the technological graveyard or are new discs made shoddily compared to those over five years? This question I debate as the Old DVD Player claims every other disc is dirty when said discs spin fine in other drives before and after cleaning. Okay, who's or what's eating all my gigabytes? My new harddrive came with 456 GBs that went down to 415 after all the stuff necessary to me was installed; however, after less than ONE month, that harrdive is down to 391!? New keyboard is too touch sensitive so grammar and spelling errors multiply for this pedantic; thus I want old keyboard back even if it has loud clacks. As for old mouse, it had to go when the first paint layer disappeared where my fingers happened to rest when i was having cut-and-paste festivals.

One week ago the harddrive and monitor broke up. That made it impossible to access online assistance, so it was hours of fun on the telephone with outsourced support. Their advice was not to my liking: first buy recovery discs for your model to restore but lose your old data, then install the latest nerdirific version of Norton to prevent viruses ( Read more... )
