Dear Charlotte,
The Admissions & Fellowships Committee has recommended that you be taken off the
stipend waitlist. I am pleased to inform you that the committee has recommended
to the Dean that you receive the following funding package for the 2005-06
academic year (in addition to what we recommended in May):
Fall 2005: $8,500 (stipend)
Spring 2006: $8,500 (stipend)
If approved, the $8,500 each semester will cover a stipend for a teaching
assistantship.
A letter detailing the particulars of the merit-based award will be forthcoming
from the Graduate School pending approval of our recommendation. Please note
that this is only a recommendation. The Dean must approve our recommendation
for funding in order for you to be awarded the above funding package for the
next academic year.
