The Admissions & Fellowships Committee has completed its review of your funding application. I am pleased to inform you that the committee has recommended to the Dean that you receive the following funding package for the 2005-06 academic year:
Fall 2005: $14,724 (tuition for 4 courses)
Spring 2006: $14,724 (tuition for 4 courses)
If approved, the tuition will be automatically credited to your account. A letter detailing the particulars of the merit-based award will be forthcoming from the Graduate School pending approval of our recommendation. Please note that this is only a recommendation. The Dean must approve our recommendation for funding in order for you to be awarded the above funding package for the next academic year. Congratulations!
Unfortunately, we were unable to offer you all of the funding you requested at this point in time. However, we have placed you on a waitlist for the following funding package for the 2005-06 academic year:
Fall 2005: $8,500 (stipend)
Spring 2006: $8,500 (stipend)
If you are taken off the waitlist, the $8,500 each semester will cover a stipend for a teaching assistantship. Should funds become available, I will contact you to let you know. I would like to thank you for submitting your request for funding.
