If I did not have anything to say, I guess I shouldn't be saying anything after watching Letters from Iwo Jima. Ken Watanabe is a superb actor and I wish I can watch more of his movies.

runab has gone home. There's nothing much to do around the house. So, when I found an old favorite - had a nice time watching it. And since I have been reading up a bit (again !) on WWII, watched Battle of Britain. This one was an aftermath of reading up "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few."

Yesterday on cable there was Bhool Bhulaiyya playing. We caught the movie a bit late. A standard Priyadarshan fare it focuses more on the characters in the backdrop of an adequately spooked out house. After receiving some pretty sad reviews the team of Bhool Bhulaiyya have decided to rejig the promotional bits across television. Instead of the perception of being a comedy gag-a-minute which it pretended to be, the current promotional clips are more aimed at trying to put across teasers of pscyho-horror. runab and me went to watch The Namesake. Before we begin, it is a good movie and a pleasant watch although the show was marred by a group of giggling girls and boys who found a whole lot of scenes funny.
