hi from my cubicle
hello all
i am officially an RP. that's Real Person for those of you that are out of the loop. i started working on monday and really have done almost nothing yet. there's isn't much work to be done in the summer. but at least i'll be getting a paycheck. yay!!
i was suppossed to play on the work softball team last night, but the game was cancelled. it was sad. friday instead of working, we are all going white water rafting in west virginia. we are SUCH slackers...what company pays its employees to have fun?? good times. i'll probably injure myself though. they take us on like the bunny hill of rafting so i don't intend to drown or anything...but i will probably be thrown into the water at some point due to my size and the fact that i am young and female. the water is allegedly pretty warm so that's fine i suppose.
the apartment is looking good, although i have had numerous fights with time warner cable and i am still waiting for my couch to be delivered. once that gets here, i am going to buy some coffee tables, hang my curtains and pictures, and call it a day on the decorating. so it's almost done. i like it a lot, living alone is kinda fun. blake gets in next week sometime, so i doubt as though i'll be "alone" for very long. he is bringing his dad's ski boat down and we are going to spend a lot of time for the rest of the summer out on the lake...woo!!
i had the best idea EVER today when i got to work. i went to put my lunch in the dirty crowded refridgerator and i thought to myself "self, you need to buy a mini fridge to keep at your cubicle!!" so i think i will!! then i can bring in a full week's worth of lunch and snacks on monday and have it all sitting here AND i won't even have to move to get it. i am an evil genius :)
tonight i'm suppossed to play poker with the guys from work...i expect to lose my $20 buy in pretty quickly. but it should be fun. well i guess that's about it...although i wish i had more to say because i'm bored out of my MIND here. they really need to give me something to do...i'm bringing in a book to read tomorrow i think. OH and i set up a SN to use exclusively when i'm at work...it's jerzgrl618. so IM me to keep me entertained. ok i'm done here...over and out!!
