Which, somehow, wasn't incredibly surprising. The idea that she knew she had lied to him and had possibly forgotten what about was, a little, but he said he believed her and he meant it.

Didn't stop him from immediately needing a cigarette when she brought up the question of whether or not it was okay to lie to someone to protect them in chat.

Other than that he felt okay. Level. Curious. And when 1AM rolled around and Allison turned off all the lights and locked up the video store, he was waiting for her by the car.

Whether or not they'd have this conversation before or after they got home depended on her.
