back, unpacked, repacking
Such glorious weather! Busy today though. Much chore-age to be done before leaving my snug little house again to head off once more, for the in-laws this time. Baby Boy has been very wakeful this pm. which has not helped the packing rate, nor the satisfaction rating of DD, poor lambkin: such a lovely, sunny day to be stuck in helping Mama pack bags and make lists and do washing. We are now half packed, Boy-chik is dozing at last and my head is thumping like a marching band. OW! Would give much to be all alone in house, prostrated on the couch, watching The Philadelphia Story with a long, cold, very alcoholic drink in hand - maybe in a couple of years.
Did venture out this morning for errands and had a total cuteness overdose. A pair of young Goths were taking their little twin Gothlets for a walk. It was quite ridiculously cute and I wish I knew how to work the camera in my phone to capture the look for posterity. Sadly both twins were male so there was no opportunity to reproduce the ripped black chic of Mama in miniature.
The twins whose deliciousness was pretty much responsible for the rekindling of my maternal urges are one year old today. Happy Birthday Killian and Alice!!! - you know who you are.
