Away for a bittock
Will be off LJ for a couple of days while visiting my folks prior to easter vac. Of course, if I reappear this evening you can assume that the various contacts with doctors have resulted in the cancellation of those plans. Fingers crossed!
Saw Dr Who again last night. Still good!
Spent yesterday afternoon in the park soaking up glorious spring sunshine. it was a Family Fun day and many people were working very hard to make it work. The key event was a kids' nature trail/treasure hunt. The chaos fairy had messed up the park and the children had to go round making things right and fixing the magic. There was a blindfold walk following a 'spider's thread' and two lost (papier mache) dogs who had got stuck up a tree and little boxes full of gold stars that had to be returned to Lady Night. Cute! DD had great fun searching the flower beds for things that shouldn't be there and found carrots, wine glasses, cucumbers, peppers, broccoli, rhubarb (although the peppers and rhubarb were very decorative) and some empty bottles and litter that weren't really part of the game. We had a hard time finding Lady Night though - in fact DD retired from the fray to the playground and I located the last thing and then helped her 'find' it. Even Baby Boy decided not to sleep through the whole thing and enjoyed kicking around in the sun and a little milk-picnic of his own before we headed home.
