Life is so decent
Well, last night was the Teen Center and I must say that the kids (aside from those brats who snuk...or is it sneaked out of the dance) were pretty well behaved and enjoyable. I saw Leigh in action which is always enlightening and got to catch up with Tracy Rose. Afterwards, I bounced over to Drew's to see the boys with Liz and Tara. As I left at some ungodly hour I got something of an apology (?) from Carley for calling me a bitch at the dance. I wish I could say her hatred didn't bother me, but I get really shaken up when I'm under attack like that. Ooph.
And to make matters better, I awoke to receive a lovely acceptance letter from Vermont.
"Dear Samantha,
It is my great pleasure to offer you admission to the University of Vermont as a member of the Class of 2010."
That's really exciting because I decided I'm not a huge UMW fan...not that I've visited Vermont. But I just felt like the columns and serious accents would lead to confederate flags and other stereotypically Southern behaviors. I'm so...regionist? I really shouldn't be making sweeping decisions like that yet, considering the fact that I've never really taken a good look at either, but for the time being and in my severe ignorance, let me revel in the fact that I won't have to go to Frederickburg, Virginia just yet.
