Don't be hatin'

Not bad for the most widely disliked day of the year...
Got all kinds of chocolate from mommy (stay tuned for all kinds of breakouts), an easy school day, no oboe (third week straight...I feel like she's given up), a triple date at 8:30 in Providence, very little homework to deal with until then, and a recently resurrected collection of French CD's. Plus we missed Monday!

And tomorrow? Carnation delivery, early release, Les Mis (not my favorite musical or anything... not like I have a two disc soundtrack...), haircut Friday, and seeing Aly's face in the spotlight on Saturday with three boyos (road trip!). Oh, and vacation. There's too much to look forward to!

I love you, existence?

Now for some brief emotion:
I got my cartilage pierced with Susie yesterday, which I realized was the first thing I've ever done that I consciously knew my parents didn't approve of. As far as I can remember, if they weren't happy about it, I refrained. For this reason, I was overcome with a sense of...guilt (?) late last night. It made me realize how much I thrive on the approval of others. Which is such a bad thing. They of course don't think less of me or anything, but realizing I'd done something that they didn't support completely made me feel awful. I should probably work on that little complex of mine. Until that's achieved, I'll just make sure I don't get any infections or anything (maybe they'll forget it ever happened...presently my mom tells me to cover it so adults don't think I'm "WILD!").
