"Christ has died, Christ is risen..."

I really like how my psychology project feels like Lent. I "gave up" making quick, condescending responses to my sister's mindless ramblings. But don't tell her that or she'll milk it for all it's worth. My method of avoiding "temptation?" A pack of Lindt milk chocolate truffles. That's a more than appropriate reward for what I'm putting myself through.

I've been done with my homework since 4:30 or 5ish. In realizing how good life is at this moment, I decided to peek back into my archives and see how my first monday of February went last year. Here's an excerpt.

(Disclaimer: please don't laugh, I'm embarrassed enough for the two of us)

"There's little to be said about today. I don't know how my mid-term went. I don't know how math went. I'm proud to say I didn't leave any blank. That's all I can be sure of. I also went out and bought a book of Anne Sexton's poems. They'll come in handy when I'm depressed because they'll help me realize that I could me much worse off. That's what everybody tells me and I often ignore them. Once this year ends, maybe I'll understand."

And, in the spirit of the old days...
