Meme time! Since I haven't been updating my journal with these in awhile, it's about time.

I have to say, I enjoy the Sailor Moon anime a lot more than the manga because Naoko Takeuchi's style does absolutely nothing for me. I get that her style's primarily a shoujo style but she can't draw action... at all. I like the work in her artbooks because her illustrations are a lot like fashion spreads, which she's good at drawing.

I think the anime fixes a lot of the manga's pacing issues too, not that it didn't bring its own problems but I admit I can overlook them more than the manga due to bias. And the dub... I LOVE IT. I love that it's a weird product of its time with the slang, but the clothes the characters wore were very 80's haha.

Actually I hear that the live action series is the best version so maybe I should check that out sometime.

lol, yeah. Lacking hair does affect which pairing to shoot. And I'm still wondering how drell/human sex even works without giggling about HALLUCINATIONS. xD

Sailor Moon was second anime. Samurai Pizza Cats was my first. :D But I love it so much and it had a huge impact on me as a kid. When I finally got to read the manga, I realized it was far better than the anime series. But the anime will always be special to because it was a major part of my childhood.
