Saturday I started feeling like I might want to start knitting again.
So I found thispattern on Ravelry. I really want to make it. I am torn, though. I don't have any Noro sock yarn, or really any sock yarn that is the colors that I think will work. I have Noro Kureyon and Noro silk garden but they are worsted...I'm not sure that will work. ( Read more... )

I've been sick for a week or so. Its not fun. Today I want to go outside and do more gardening but everytime I think about it I feel even more sinus pressure. So I am going to knit instead.  I made it to my mom's yesterday night. It hasn't even been 24 hours and I'm really glad I came. My mom can be hard to deal with, but that's why I brought the kid. She loves kids....especially grandkids. She loves teaching and helping and being with them. Its really nice cause for the last week or so I have had a hard time with my kid.  I can't decide between this afghan pattern or this one for the inlaws...I gave up on the log cabin one cause the sight of it was making me sick....any suggestions? And no, not making a blanket isn't an option....and yes, that is why this is so hard for me.

Kiddo and I went to Mystic Bean today and took a couple pics. They are crappy pictures, and they are so crappy they don't really improve anyone's ability to judge the suitability of Mystic Bean for crafty endeavors.
