Swimming in the sky

Today it was extremely foggy as I drove into work. The reservoir I pass every day on looked like it was connected to the sky the fog was so thick. It was a weird sight. Then, I rounded a corner and saw a large flock of geese swimming in the water, but the angle I was at made them look like they were swimming up into the sky. I know I'm not doing the scene justice. It amazes me how with just adding one element a field of dreary grey turns into something gorgeous and magical.

I wish I could have stopped and taken pictures with a camera. Or that I was talented enough to paint it.
