Ugh, I am a tad frustraited today. I went to make my "brand" website, and realized that:
A: I havn't made a website in like 4 years
B: All the websites I have made prevoiusly have been done with pixel style graphics
My original idea involved basing the design on rotating illustrations featuring the current/soon to be dress/jsk release. I'm not really crazy about the illustration I ended up with, and I can't seem to wrap my brain around making non pixel web graphics. I have no practice! It just won't intigrate!
ehhhh.... Looking at this makes me realize how little practice I've gotten drawing since I took up sewing. It's a "skill" I pull out when I need it lol
My current thought is to do a design something like thise:
http://www.k-seraphim.com/09/navi.html Simple, elegant, the illustration as the focus, most of the rest of the graphics as text.
My other thought is to ditch the illustration idea and just run with my strengths and do an all pixel art website. This is one I made several years ago:
http://home.comcast.net/~sakurafairy/ The design is a little clunky, I would do something a bit simpler.
So, which should I do?? I feel sorta ambivalent about both ideas.
It's funny how much LJ lends it's self to complaining. XD
So today I got some pink lolita shoes in the mail that I had ordered super cheap from an ebay seller. I went to try them on, and found that the little hook that you hook in front of the faux buckle to "buckle" the shoe wasn't actually attached. It was just like slipped on the strap and then the strap wasn't sewn closed over it LOL. No wonder the shoes cost so little!
I had a little giggle over it and then stiched the hook actually onto the shoe.
