Thankyou all for your help with my Lily of the Valley site design in my last post. It helped me to refocus my design ideas. I thought about the
last full picture/illustration (not including the pudding graphics, which I am very happy with) I was very happy with, and remembered that it was an art nouveau inspired beekeeper I drew for my Mom for Mothers day a year or so ago.
So art nouveau it is! I paged through a few of my art books and came up with this.
It's really hard to encorporate lolita clothing into Art nouveau lol! Flowing grecian garments do not translate easily to floofy dresses XD Mary gave me the okay to snob up the section titles XDDDDD
So this is just a quick mockup, I still want to tone down the green of the leaves a bit. The stripes are a background I'm considering for the "main" window, but now that I look at it, it proubly needs to be lighted alot so the text will show up. Anyway, I"m pretty happy with it, I just need to remember how to "program" the silly thing.
I'm also fiddling with a second much much simpler website for my flings into historical costuming. A place I can put dress diaries and such. I'm working on a german rennisance dress for my friend Melanie, so I'm eagar to get it up.
MMMMMmmmmm so much delightful work to be done!
