Yes, I'm still alive!!!
It's Gracie's birthday on Friday! I can't believe she's 4!! And her first day of pre school is on Sept 12th! I feel so old!
Life has been really hectic since my last update. Besides getting ready for Gracie's birthday, I interviewed at Jersey Shore Medical Center (a local teaching university hospital) and I actually was offered the job yesterday! I am to start as an RN, on Sept 12th! So I'll miss Gracie's first day of pre school, but I'll be starting job security, thank goodness. The other usual stuff has been going on, trying to keep the kids occupied during the day (Kate is easy, daycamp, which ends unfortunately this Friday), and trying to keep up with the housework. What will happen when I start the job is that Ken will be the house husband (he is actually applying at a few spots for a part time position, to try to supplement my prospective income, which will be short of our budget that we were previously on when he working in NYC). That should be funny! I predicted that after one year of Mr.Mom, he would scream and throw in the towel...I'm sorry, men cannot do what women do and vice versa, imho...if that's a sexist opinion, I can't help it...LOL.
This is just a quick update, I'll give more detail hopefully tonite (going to try to teach Kate how to use her own email box that Ken set up for her...how big she's getting!!!)
