Hello and welcome to the madness!

It's been a crazy few days, and more to come with school starting soon! We attended my nephew's second birthday party on Sunday the 14th...that was so much fun! The chaos ensuing with 6 kids ranging in age from 2-8 was adorable! Madness! hehe...
I made my sister cry, I feel really bad...my brother's tradition, since we were knee high to a grasshopper (did I mention previously that Nick was 8 years older than me, and almost 12 years older than Anne?) was to always, every year on our birthday's, to either play the song or sing it, the Beatle's Birthday song...so anyway this past year neither Anne or myself carried on this tradition with each other...but at little Nicky's birthday table, after blowing out the candles, I started singing it to him...Anne started singing it back to me but then started bawling...I felt really bad, however I don't want the tradition to die...by carrying on the traditions in a new way, I hope to keep his memory alive...
I'm planning, once the tombstone is laid, to get a memorial tattoo...I'm thinking a chess piece (preferably a queen piece, Nick was a great fan of the game and taught me when I was 7 years old) and some kind of graphic from The Lord of the Rings (maybe the White Tree of Gondor?)...this will be placed on my left shoulder (only cause the right shoulder has ink on it already, a tribal dolphin)...then, to complete my palette on my back, I'm thinking along the lower back, two little mermaids with my girls' names (maybe the fins or the hair of the mermaids the colors of their respective birthstones)...just call me Lydia! hehe

Until next update...
