The Good Wife
My new favourite crime fighting team, let me introduce you to them:
Meet Alicia Florrick, wife of the former State's Attorney ('former', as he was jailed for using public funds to purchase hookers). She's had to return to work as a lawyer, after giving up her career for her husband's sake fifteen years ago. This series has me so in love with Julianna Margulies - her understated performance as the down-to-earth Alicia is a joy to watch. She's also one of those rare types who gets better looking with age, like George Clooney (hmm.. there might be a pattern emerging there)
Meet Kalinda Sharma, the firm's in-house investigator, and Alicia's new right hand woman. She brings the snark, which makes her a nice foil for Alicia's sober façade and inner turmoil - their relationship is a little unpredictable, especially early on. Archie Panjabi was SO familiar to me - and for good reason, she was Maya in the UK Life on Mars, which I've only watched like a million times.
Together they make a formidable (and sexay) team.
Especially when tequila shots are involved.
So, anyone else watching The Good Wife?
