HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME...
...cuz no one else is gonna sing it for me :)
I didn't really celebrate. It was a normal day. I exercised, and played with a local community band, and did laundry and cleaned.
Next weekend I'll go home to visit my parents...hopefully there are no humiliating b-day shout-outs in store for me.
This morning I woke up and had some glorious strong coffee, and enjoyed a book.
Savoring that blessed, blessed free time while I still can. Because tomorrow I give notice, and a month from now I start orientation, and in between I'll probably start at the candy store again.
The month of rest is over. Time to hit the ground running again :/
Today is looking boring:
~ hiking Lookout Trail
~ groceries
~ rehearsal
~ Super Bowl? (no cable, and don't want to go to a bar...)
Boring is nice. I appreciate the boring right now.
