Another new arrival to the Nexus, a young man who looks twenty-ish. He walks for a while, observing, before arriving back at the sign and asking his required question.

He has a pleasant voice, but there's something cold and inhuman in his eyes. "Does this place have a leader...? If so, I would like to speak to them."

Several have tried, none have succeeded, all were fools. Why do you want a word with whoever'd be in charge here?

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Only to ask a few questions... this place is interesting; I'd like to find out more."

There are some here who could probably answer your questions. Depending on the questions, I might be one of them.

"Could you explain what this place is? I believe I have ended up on another world, but I have no way to tell..."

"Nope. I don't think there's anyone powerful enough to impose rule here, and if there is, we'd rather not anyway."

"And why is that? Do you not need someone to enforce the laws?"

"I don't think there are any here. There's good suggestions, like beware el oh els and mind your manners because somebody here will be able to smack you down, but there's not really any laws."

He narrows his eyes slightly at her second suggestion. A moment later, and his polite expression is back. "'Eh oh els'? I have not heard of those before."

Terebas is skipping. This takes a bit of attention so she doesn't realize the difference *right* away. 'Hi Kuja!' Skip skip ? full stop! Wait. She half-turns to look at him.

She's just a kid, too young to be helpf-wait, what?

"Who are you?"

She heads over, entirely without fear, silly girl. 'I'm Terebas! You don't know me, do you.' Not really a question. She's getting pretty good at recognizing alternates.

Her shadow is behaving today! It's very dark, but otherwise normal.

"...No. Should I?" He sounds distracted, though he's looking right at her. Is there anything magical about her~?

The beelining hatchlings skid to a halt just outside of grabbing range. Some of them look a bit puzzled. There's something different, they think, but they can't quite place what it is.

"I don't think there are leaders here," one of them says.

The tallest of the three small Waltzes, a miniature nera-copy of Black Waltz Three, gives this new Kuja a very suspicious look.

A shocked look for an instant, and then it's gone. So far as he knows, only one of these creatures was ever made... and here's ten. Three with wings, and all of them walking around on their own.

"That's too bad... every world needs someone to lead."

"Why?" one of the wingless ones asks innocently.

"Because someone has to tell people what to do," Arashi, the mini-Three, says smugly.

Mistral, the smallest little Waltz, thinks about the rest. "I don't think this is really a world. It's something else. Like where the eidolons live."

"It's only a world that connects to many other worlds." That's his idea of the place, at least.

He'll be looking at what kind of magic made these things now. It seems different than the one he made.

Amazingly enough, the Hatchlings aren't running around unattended today. Rydia, however, just takes note of the new Kuja, perhaps assessing if he might be a threat.

((Any attempt to sense if she has magic potential will, of course, reveal a lot of skill in Black Magic, a very faded grasp of the basics of White Magic (she hasn't used it since she was a child, and has forgotten the actual spells), and a lot of talent for call/summon magic.))

She hasn't answered his question, or spoken to him at all, so for now she'll be left alone.

((Thanks~.))

She watches a few moments longer after all, he looks good in that outfit before speaking up and attracting attention to herself.

"There are no leaders here, Kuja. Everyone has their own to follow in their own worlds, I'd guess, but this place is neutral ground."

"Another one who's met the fake?" He's more interested in that than his original question now.
