Another new arrival to the Nexus, a young man who looks twenty-ish. He walks for a while, observing, before arriving back at the sign and asking his required question.

He has a pleasant voice, but there's something cold and inhuman in his eyes. "Does this place have a leader...? If so, I would like to speak to them."

Several have tried, none have succeeded, all were fools. Why do you want a word with whoever'd be in charge here?

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Only to ask a few questions... this place is interesting; I'd like to find out more."

There are some here who could probably answer your questions. Depending on the questions, I might be one of them.

"Could you explain what this place is? I believe I have ended up on another world, but I have no way to tell..."

"Another world" is an oversimplification. If you think that's as complex an idea as you'll be able to grasp, best to leave it at that. If you want a clearer explanation, I'll elaborate.

Something changes in his expression. It's hard to tell what, exactly. "Then explain. I'm sure I can figure it out."

You're at the point between everywhere and everywhen, every possibility.

"Many different worlds, all coming together at this one point...?" He likes this idea.

All possible worlds.

"What a nice surprise."

Oh? And what makes it so nice, from your point of view?

"It's an interesting place to visit. I've seen quite a few things already that don't exist where I came from."

It is. Stay long enough, and you'll see something you regret.

This doesn't seem to faze him. "Such as?"

It varies, from person to person. One of the other of you, perhaps.

"The other of me meaning...?"
